The Greenhouse Effect: Exploring the Theory Kit (Teacher-Developed, Classroom-Tested)
|
Product Information
Here's an easy way to explore the greenhouse effect theory. Students create two identical soil-filled environments, except one is open and one is closed. Both environments are exposed to the same light and conditions. By taking periodic temperature measurements and graphing their data, students can clearly see differences in rates of heating and cooling in the two bottles. Developed by Freddie Faber. Grades 5-8. Includes materials for eight student groups: thermometers, soil, rubber stoppers, soda bottles, X-acto knife, a teacher's guide and student instructions.
Please note: Some assembly is required. A balance or scale and a reflector lamp with at least a 100 W bulb are recommended for each lab station but are not included.
