The Amplifier Power Supply is the heart of the entire system of plug-in and add-on electronic modules.
Having both an amplifier and a power supply in one compact unit saves valuable class time in setting up experiments and in the overall cost of the system. The unique method of plug-in connection is safe and simple and eliminates the need of connecting cords or cables.
The system is “student proof.” No possible interconnection of the binding posts can harm the unit. The stability and high gain of the amplifier makes it a natural for use with thermocouples or thermistors in temperature measuring experiments.
The power supply portion has DC operating voltages of 12 and 6 V with 0.1% regulation, and ± 18 V, DC unregulated. AC voltages of 25 and 150 V also are provided. The amplifier has a voltage gain of 0-100 and a bandwidth of DC to 500 kHz with a power output of 500 mW, DC or 250 mW, AC.
