The lessons provided can be completed in the order presented, or rearranged to best fit your curriculum. Based on the National Standards and designed by teachers, the activities in this kit can be used for individual or cooperative group work. Materials for a class of 25 students are included: the 4 Eric Carle books, Animals and Their Babies game, Story Elements Glove, Craft sticks, Character Picture Cards, Four-Scene Sequence Cards, Food Pyramid Board and Pieces, Guided Reading Beach Ball, Skywatcher's Cloud Chart, Retelling Cubes, Painted Lady Butterfly Manipulative, Word Family Slides, and instructions with reproducible student pages.
