Product Information

Composed of four different models on one base, this model provides an in-depth look into hair. Three of the models offer a cross section look at the magnified view of the hair shaft, hair root and hair bulb. The other is a longitudinal section, of the hair root, which is 100x life size enabling further analysis. Students can also easily identify the different layers and components of hair, such as the cuticle and cortex and the external and internal root sheath.
