Product Information

Make billions of copies of a small amount of DNA in just 90 minutes. Using the contents of this kit, students mix template DNA and primers with PCR beads that contain all of the other components required to carry out a PCE reaction. By taking samples every few cycles and analyzing them via agarose gel electrophoresis, students will demonstrate the increasing amounts of DNA. Kit includes enough materials for 10 student groups and instructions. A thermal cycler or PCR bath, 5–50 ul adjustable micropipets, tips, horizontal electrophoresis chamber, and a power supply, required, are available separately.
