The Animals and Their Babies Association Match-Mate game will delight younger children while helping to develop their matching, language, and visual/auditory assocation skills. Set includes 24 cards featuring very bright and colorful illustrations of common, easily recognized animals. Twelve of the cards show &"adult&" animals while twelve show their &"babies&". Can be used in many different ways. You can play a memory game by laying all cards face down then have players turn them over, one at a time, searching for those that match. You can play match-mate rummy. You can use paired cards to help students understand classification of adult animal to baby. Pre-K students will love to just hold and look at the cards. Cards are made of thick, washable plastic. 1 to 4 players, ages 3-7.
