Product Information

Based on the Bauer-Kirby test, this kit is used to investigate the effectiveness of three antibiotics using disks of penicillin, tetracycline and chloramphenicol on a petri dish. Students measure the clear “zones of inhibition” around each disk to determine which antibiotic was most effective. Includes: 30 total count easygel, 30 easygel petri dishes, 3 broth cultures, 3 tubes 30 treated disks, 6 1mL droppers, teacher guide, student worksheet.
