Product Information

This biolab uses purified catalase to demonstrate how the enzyme catalyzes the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide from deadly toxic compound to oxygen and water.
Also demonstrates how the rate of catalysis is effected by such variables as temperature, pH, and enzyme concentration.
Kit provides enough materials for 30 students. The frozen catalase contains enough concentrate to make 500mL of 400 units/ml solution.
