This is the microscope you will want to use for viewing fine details of large specimens or for dissection. Fluorescent illumination provides a much higher intensity light to illuminate every detail of even the most irregular objects. The ring configuration produces a circular light directly down and around the specimen. The result is even lighting and the virtual elimination of visible shadows.
