Product Information

Demonstrate the presence of different chlorophyll compounds in plants using thin-layer chromatography. Students will see the ways in which chromatograms and wavelength determination are used in chemical procedures. Includes developing solvent and concentrated chlorophyll extract sufficient for 100 demonstrations of a paper chromatogram and 100 demonstrations showing the wavelengths absorbed by the chlorophyll, and instructions.
