Unlimited access to virtual dissection software for your whole school!
The Boreal Digital Dissection Series CD-ROM provides teachers and students with a complete virtual dissection lab on demand. Dissections include frog, earthworm, rat, fetal pig, crayfish, and perch.
When your CD-ROM arrives, it will come with an access code for each individual lab you have purchased, or a &"master access code&" if you purchased the entire series. This allows you to &"unlock&" the dissection lab or labs you have purchased.
Each virtual dissection was performed by a dissection expert. Virtual tools include a scalpel, scissors, and a &"T&" Pin. A Video/DVD style control panel allows students to view dissections step by step or in movie mode. A hint button helps guide students through the dissection. Video clips provide additional insight into specimen anatomy, behavior, and movement. An interactive &"anatomy&" section allows students to highlight specific anatomy areas, and offers insight into specimen life cycle. Quiz mode tests student knowledge with 20 questions and lets them check their scores for immediate feedback.
The Boreal Digital Dissection Series CD-ROM is a great &"dry&" teaching tool that lets you demonstrate proper dissection technique to your students before they tackle the real thing or for use by those students who may object to dissecting real or preserved specimens. Also a great way to reduce lab budget costs.
You may purchase one or more individual labs, or the entire lab, including all titles. Regardless of how many labs you purchase, you will receive a single CD-ROM containing all labs but you will only have access to the labs you purchased. If you wish to access labs other than the ones you purchased, you can order additional access codes either by calling or emailing our customer service department or they can be purchased online (see below). Each access code provides you with an unlimited site license, meaning that all students in your school building
