Product Information

Amaze your students with this creature that looks ferocious but is actually quite timid. The easy-to-care-for giant hissing cockroach (Gromphadorina sp.) can grow as long as 8cm. When threatened, this flightless insect emits a hissing sound that it generates by forcibly expelling air through its spiracles. The cockroach habitat provides a safe environment for raising these specimens. Includes cockroach, plastic terrarium, Lok-Rocks®, bran meal media and care and feeding instructions.
