Product Information

Introduce your students to one of the most important examinations used in the hematology lab: blood smearing. Students use simulated blood and step-by-step instructions to perform a blood smear. The simulated blood contains nonbiological components which represent red and white blood cells and platelets, allowing students to safely observe them under a microscope — just like the real thing. For ease of identification, the cellular components have been pre-stained. A microscope is required but not included. Includes materials for 24 students, 3ml simulated blood, microscope slides, and instructions.
