Microslides consist of a strip of film with eight photomicrographs, each reproduced exactly as you would see them through a professional microscope under ideal conditions. You can supply all your students with their own microslides. A detailed text folder is included. Viewers are available separately.

Because plants do not move about the way animals do, students sometimes forget that they are living creatures too. This lesson examines plants at the cellular level, showing students a few of the different kinds of cells there are in plants and the special functions they perform.
