Product Information

Instead of traditional circuit diagrams and components drawn on the blackboard, this device uses manipulative, oversized components the whole class can see. Velcro backed components are easily placed on this Display Board, so circuits can be studied and maneuvered, while collecting real data. After discussing expected results of voltage and current, students simply flip the lever switch to see instant results. An included multimeter can also be attached to the board to collect live data readings. Developed by Meera Trivedi, the kit includes a student and teacher guide. Size: 61 x 82cm; weight: 1.8 kg. Grades 8–12.

A nice demonstration for teachers

It was always difficult to teach electricity to the students in a group. With this mounted board it seems I am teaching electric circuit to the class in place of Demonstrating in group.
