Maybe Too Powerful

Funny story: I ordered two of these and Boreal sent them in a small padded envelope. The envelope must have gotten close to some metal and when someone tried to pull the envelope, the envelope ripped and it arrived without magnets. Boreal resent two more, this time in a box, and the arrived safely. They were black, which covers white, unlike the picture. I measured 32x16x9mm. The oblong shape is conventient for gripping. It took some ingenuity to pull them apart. I had to be careful because they snap together at high velocity. They work well through a 12mm table top. They pick up a quarter from about 2cm (keep your fingers out of the way). I was unable to press them closer than about 4mm when the poles repelled. I think it would be interesting to set up a harness and measure how much force is needed to make them touch.
