Product Information This is one of the most beautiful demonstrations we've ever seen. A hand-blown, partially evacuated chamber holds a fluorescent-coated mica paddle wheel mounted on fine glass rails. When exposed to 5,000 volts at 3 μA, the electron flow through the vacuum causes the paddle wheel to fluoresce and move along the track. Reverse the polarity and it travels back. The apparatus is 20 cm long and comes mounted on a hardwood stand. Note: We recommend the use of our Solid State Induction Power Supply (69628-02). Available to our U.S. customers only.
