Perform crystal demonstrations quickly and easily with this simple technique developed by teacher Dale Holder.

While growing crystals in petri dishes, you can use your overhead projector to let the entire class watch the growth process. The crystals grow quickly and can be crystallized and dissolved many times. In addition, the petri dishes can be easily photocopied for notes and quizzes.

Includes: petri dishes, copper II sulfate, potassium ferricyanide, potassium permanganate, nickelous sulfate, permanent marker and instruction booklet with student activities.
