Product Information

The External-Internal Heart is a twice life-size model so accurate it’s been endorsed by the American Heart Association. Three easy-access flaps flip open for internal study of the heart. The chambers and valves are accurately reproduced to scale. The flexible chordae tendinae and cusps permit easy-to-see demonstrations of valve action. The model includes attached sections of the trachea and esophagus.
Mounted on a hardwood stand, this model comes with a key that lists the 45 structures permanently hand-coded on the model. Also twice life-size, the Heart with Bypass model has detachable bypass vessels to demonstrate single, double, triple, LIMA, and bilateral IMA coronary bypasses. Detaching all the vessels lets you show a normal healthy heart. Size of each: 15 x 23 x 18cm.
