This non-toxic compound remains soft and pliable until it is baked in a conventional oven at 275° degrees for 15 minutes.(Cannot be used in a microwave oven). Sculpey Oven Bake Clay can be tooled, rolled, cut, extruded or formed over molds. Once cooled, the baked pieces can be polished, drilled, sanded, carved and painted.
