Determining the Molar Mass of Butane Lab
|
Product Information
It’s difficult to measure the mass of a gas. In this lab, students use an unique technique to isolate butane gas that allows them to physically measure the difference in mass, then calculate the molar mass of the gas. Comes with enough materials to conduct 5 classes of 28 students — 3 trials per class. Developed by Mary Gallup. Grades 10-12. Includes materials for five classes: 10 gas collection tubes, 10 OO one-hole stoppers, 10 butane canisters, 50mL glycerine, instructions.
