Product Information Designed to illustrate best frequency, sympathetic vibration, and resonance. To demonstrate beats, a sliding weight is provided so that the beat frequency can be raised or lowered. To show resonance the two forks can be tuned to unison, then one fork made to vibrate, then silenced, and the other will continue to vibrate sympathetically. Each of the large alloy tuning forks has a frequency of 256 Hz. They have been carefully matched. Each fork is mounted on an individually adjusted resonance box. Assembly required.
