Photometers are essential equipment in any principle of technology or in-school research program.
This photometer is a versatile classroom tool for measuring power levels of laser beams, demodulating optical signals (up to 10KHz) for audio applications, and solar experiments. Offers four digital measurement scales from 20 microwatts through 20 milliwatts.
It demodulates optical signals up to 10 kHz and provides a DC analog output through standard banana jacks. The analog output can be connected to a strip charat recorder for solar monitoring or to an oscilloscope for observing time-dependent optical signals.
It will also act as an audio receiver to demodulate laser signals that are also output to the industry standard banana jacks. The battery power, portability and adjustable height detector of this model offer particular flexibility.
Features a large digital display and comes with a storage container, metal optical stand for the detector, instruction manual and batteries. Measures 16 x 9.5 x 6.5 cm. Powered by 2- 9V batteries.
