After a simple assembly, this plastic DNA Model can be twisted into a double helix. Instead of building it around a center post like other DNA models, this unique design can be used to demonstrate separation. Each of the four nitrogenous bases comes in a different unlabelled color, so students can design their own base pair coding. The model is removable from the plastic base and can be extended to its full length of 35&" and laid flat. For all grade levels.
The DNA Model kit contains 2 flexible plastic side bars, 24 base pairs (6 each of yellow, green, red and blue), 30 end clips, 1 black plastic base stand and instructions.
