Product Information

No mixing. No autoclaving. No condensation. Easygel is a sterile, pectin-based agar replacement that comes as a liquid and gels like agar when poured into the pre-treated, sterile polystyrene petri dishes that come with it.

You can add your sample to the liquid medium to create pour plates, or let the Easygel harden and make streak plates. Either way, there is no heating needed, so Easygel is perfect for taking samples on field trips and reduces your preparation time greatly when used in the laboratory. The pre-treated petri dishes measure 100 x 15 mm.

Note: The shelf life of Easygel is six months, ship date required.
