The electrochemical series is created by arranging various redox reactions in order of their standard electrode potentials, otherwise known as redox potentials. In this activity, a variety of single replacement reactions will be performed to arrange different metals and non-metals in an order of increasing activity. The activity series for four different metals and the halogens will be determined. Includes materials for 15 setups.
