Product Information

You will receive two coils on plastic spools, a U shaped iron core, a straight iron core, two magnetic needles with stands, and a pair of wires. Students can use these materials to build bar and U shaped electromagnets with a 6 V battery or DC power supply, and determine the magnitude and polarity of electromagnetic forces. Includes instructions.

The kit comes in a 5" x 5" x 1 1/2" plastic case. Weight: 7 oz.
