The experiments in this kit explore the uses of the IC555 Timer chip in various circuit configurations with the added dimension of sound.

Students build low and high frequency oscillators, light and touch sensitive oscillators, create an electronic organ and variable metronome, design a light dependent two level alternative audio-visual flasher, and more.
Kit contains enough materials for 32 students working in 4 groups of 8. Comes with teacher’s manual. Grades 10-12.

Each kit Includes: 3 breadboards (2 with IC chips), 14 resistors, 5 capacitors, 1 green LED, 1 red LED, 1 LDR, 1 quad “C” battery holder, switch, speaker, wires, variable resistor. Note: 20 C batteries (4 per kit) required - not included.
