Experiments with Lenses — Light Part III
|
Product Information
Demonstrate how light is bent when passing through simple lenses. This principle makes it possible to magnify or reduce object images. Experiments include determinations of focal lengths and image positions of lenses. Light ray paths are traced and the position and type of image produced by the various lenses is determined. A simple magnifier and Galilean telescope can be made. Materials include an optical bench; concave, convex, and plano-convex lenses; two focusing screens; a candle light source; a light ray tracer; a millimeter scale; and a lens support. Complete with five kits, teacher and student copies of assembly and activity guides.
