Physics teacher Dave Drummer brought us this clever way to explore the concepts of motion, distance, speed, velocity and acceleration using a fishing bobber.

When the Fishing Bobber Accelerometer (included) is moving at a constant speed, the bobber will remain vertical. If you strap the device on a rotating platform and spin, you'll note that the bobber leans in the direction of the acceleration. It's a simple, classroom-tested way to demonstrate these important principles. Includes: Accelerometer, instructions and suggestions for use.
