Product Information

Record and track changes to various measurement parameters over time. Simulated fish, that grow over time, teach students the importance of collecting accurate data. Each group of students will collect several different types of data — including size, weight, and volume — over several lab periods before they analyze and interpret their findings. Simulated fish continue to grow for up to seven days allowing for convenient planning and data collection. Materials provided for eight student groups include Simulated Fish, calipers, rulers, containers with lids, and three sizes of plastic beakers, teacher’s guide, and student copymasters. Triple beam balance or electronic balance and calculators, required, are available separately.
