Product Information

Designed by teacher David Milne-Ives, this kit allows students to observe evolutionary processes and population genetics using fruit-flies. Provide a habitat and all supplies needed to raise several generations of Drosophila. The habitat’s five disposal ports allow for the removal of dead flies while preventing live flies from escaping. The complete kit with supplies also includes a Drosophila culture, yeast, netting, additional jars, a Drosophila Guide, and instructions. Grades 9–AP.
