Many of the 32 models are created without vertical exaggeration or distortion, so students can clearly visualize and understand the actual size of the landforms being studied. Using the printed patterns, students assemble to scale models of volcanic outgassing, formation of the Earth and moon, relative and absolute dating, correlations activity, ordering of geologic events, amphibian evolution, Ordovician marine environment, and much more. The set of patterns is comb bound and can be used as a copymaster to produce enough for your entire class or you can enlarge the patterns to use as demonstration models.
