Product Information

Chemistry teacher, Stephen Freedman, uses this demonstation at Halloween. Two solutions, A and B, are created with Ammonium Bicarbonate, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Carbonate Luminol and Copper II Sulfate. Mix the solutions together and a dramatic blue glow appears, which is very eerie, especially in a darkened room. Includes 10 demonstrations and instructions. Needed but not included is distilled water. Grades 8–12.
