Product Information

Measure stream velocity with ease with this hand-held stream flowmeter.

You can measure velocity at fixed heights from 4” to 19” above the stream bed using the three elevation rods.

Comes with a protective carrying pouch, a sturdy impeller stick, an instruction manual with comparator charts, and a compact weatherproof case. Will operate on 2 “AAA” batteries for up to 100 hours.

I'm not sure what to make of this meter. It consists of a total of perhaps $15 in parts. It feels flimsy and easily comes apart while trying to hold it in the stream. And yet it does the job or so it seems. So far none of my stream flow measurements match one another and I'm not certain if the problem is due to bad calibration of the meter or the cobble on the stream bottom. I'm going to persist in trying to make this work, but it should cost 1/3 of what it does cost....
