Introduce junior and senior high school students to the world of microscopy with inexpensive, unbreakable microslides. Microslides consist of a strip of film with eight photomicrographs, each reproduced exactly as you would see them through a professional microscope under ideal conditions. You can supply all your students with their own microslides. A detailed text folder is included. Viewers are available separately.

If a group of plants or animals cannot easily find food, or is easily caught and eaten by other animals as their food, then that group will soon become extinct. Many organisms survive by playing what could be compared to the game of "hide or seek". These are organisms that can get close to their victims without being seen and organisms that are able to hide so they will not be eaten. This set contains photographs of animals that survive by camouflage. Students must find the hidden creatures. The set features one strip of eight images. Also included is a key to image descriptions.
