Product Information
Scientists are not yet able to completely comprehend how insects view and process information. And, because we lack “bug brains”, we will never truly be able to see the world the way they do. However, these simulated compound eyes designed by Allen Kiertz may provide clues. Students perform simple activities such as reading, and test their peripheral vision and reflexes while wearing these multi-lens glasses. This kit can also act as a springboard for further investigations into optics, perception, lenses, eye position, and more. Includes instructions. Grades K–12.
