IceProbe Aquarium Chiller With its compact size, quiet operation, threaded probe, and included nylon nut and silicone gasket, the IceProbe can be bulkheaded in any orientation through a hole drilled into siphon overflows, prefilters, sumps, or aquarium walls. It can also be suspended with a bracket or lid you provide over the top of the aquarium. It works continuously to provide 50 W of cooling power. A Temperature Controller, available separately, is required to regulate cooling to the desired temperature. One unit can cool 10 gallons of water 6–8°F below ambient air temperature, and multiple units can be used to achieve higher temperature differentials. It works with both fresh and saltwater setups. It comes with a 12 VDC power converter with two 1.8m cords on either side. Size: 12 x 12 x 18cm with 8cm interior clearance and 10cm exterior clearance when mounted.
Temperature Controllers Use this with the IceProbe to regulate the cooling power of the chiller. The controllers come with an 18″, waterproof temperature sensor and all the electrical connections required for a simple installation. The 45–65°F controller is good for egg-hatching environments; while the 65–85°F controller is designed for small tropical aquariums and micro reefs. Both models are accurate to ±1°F.
