The Magentic Atom Model is a great visual representation for demonstrating the relationships between atoms and isotopes.
Developed by Teacher Catherine Skye, this model uses blue protons, yellow neutrons, and red electrons to help you show your students how to identify the atomic number and mass number of atoms (up to chromium), distinguish various isotopes of an atom, compare covalent and ionic bonds between atoms, and more. Rearrange the Magna-Atom protons, neutrons, electrons to form different atoms or isotopes to demonstrate the relationships between them. Great for warm-up or test questions, class discussions, review sessions, and elemental bingo.
Includes enough materials to simulate all isotopes of elements with atomic numbers up to 24.
