Taking digital microscopy even further!

Let Science Kit & Boreal Labs take your class to a whole new level of video microscopy. Similar to our Boreal Digital SKopethis high-end Digital Zoom Stereomicroscope offers USB "plug and play" connection; the built-in CCD camera delivers full-screen, full-color digital images of up to 414,000 pixels right to your computer while a video signal of 480 lines/inch sends the same image to your television monitor. Both can be connected simultaneously.

The Research Microscope model is offered with the same digital/video camera and software but is mounted on our Boreal Binocular Research Microscope with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x (oil) objectives.

Both models features NTSC output and halogen illumination.

Enhance learning with the included Mac/Win software on CD-ROM that lets you capture a single image or a series of images (to create "time lapse" overviews of specimen development, growth and movement); manipulate and print images for quizzes or review; accurately measure length and area of microscopic features of specimens, record sound and more.

Minimum requirements: Win: Windows 98 or 2000, Pentium 200MHz, 64 MB RAM, 200 MB available on hard drive, sound card (optional) and CD-ROM drive. Mac: In development
