Product Information

Illustrate normal heart anatomy along with the appearance of the organ experiencing common diseases with this set of miniature models. The myocardial infarction heart model represents a partially healed, thinned, and discolored heart in five infarcted areas. A thrombus in the apex of the heart and a left ventricle hypertrophy are also shown in the congestive heart failure model, demonstrating the results of hypertension. The enlarged and distorted shape of the heart is shown both internally and externally. Sized conveniently for the classroom, all models are approximately 50% actual size. A keycard is included. Model size, Normal and Myocardial Infarction: 10 x 5.7 x 4.5cm; Conjunctive Heart Failure: 10 x 6.35 x 5.7cm.
