Home > Immunology Manipulatives (Teacher-Developed, Classroom-Tested)
|
Product Information
Don’t let the wacky, colorful characters of this manipulative set fool you. Even though they look fun (and they are), students will learn some serious science: antigens, interferons, anti-viral proteins, phagocytosis, inflammation, leukocytes, and other concepts of specific and non-specific immunology. Students move large laminated pieces representing structures of the immune system to illustrate the various steps that occur during the “battle of the antigens.” Each piece is laminated and attaches to other pieces by Velcro®. Developed by biology teacher Sharon Spencer, these manipulatives can be used for hands-on learning, or as illustrations for reviews and tests. Includes five sets of manipulatives, storage bag, and instructions. Some assembly is required. Grades 10–12.
