Product Information

For all its simplicity, the inclined plane is an amazing useful simple machine. For instance, we know that the great blocks of stone that were used to build the pyramids were not lifted into place but were rolled up ramps or what we now call inclined planes. This model allows students to observe how the inclined plane can be used to raise great weights with small forces. Also lets students experiment with the principle directly by seeing how much force is needed to pull the cart up the ramp.
