Product Information

Developed by physics teacher Bruce Sherbeck, this lab uses ‘inference boards’ to demonstrate how inferences are made from a series of observations. Each of the 10 differently wired inference boards is designed with six contacts whose wiring is concealed. Students test each contact with a circuit tester in order to infer the wiring scheme of the board. Once finished, students answer questions that allow them to analyze their inferences. Includes instructions.
Requires D cell batteries you supply. Partial assembly is required. Grades 6–9.
