Product Information

Developed by physics teacher Bruce Sherbeck, this lab uses ‘inference boards’ to demonstrate how inferences are made from a series of observations. Each of the 10 differently wired inference boards is designed with six contacts whose wiring is concealed. Students test each contact with a circuit tester in order to infer the wiring scheme of the board. Once finished, students answer questions that allow them to analyze their inferences. Includes instructions and materials for 10 student groups. Requires D cell batteries you supply. Partial assembly is required. Grades 6–9.
