Chaos chaos is an oversized amoeba used in hundreds of laboratories around the world for experiments on the reactions of free-living cells. This series of photomicrographs depicts how this micro-predator locates, captures and consumes its prey — a two minute process that has been going on for billions of years. The set features one strip of eight images. Also included is a key to image descriptions.
