Bring exciting new concepts to nuclear science instruction with this intermediate nuclear lab system.

The heart of the system is the ST350 Radiation Counter that combines, in a single unit, many features previously only attainable in multiple products.

These include preset time and count modes (extremely useful when constant counting statistics are required); digital ratemeter (ideal for contamination survey work); and audible alarm point (can be set to any pre-selected value). The high voltage supply is fully variable from 0 to +1200 volts.

The large volume Geiger-Mueller detector provides improved efficiency. With the included software, real-time data can be transferred to your PC via the serial port and stored in spread-sheet compatible files so students can perform calculations and graph the results for printing. The set of 20 calibrated absorbers cover the range from 4.5 to 7400 mg/cm2.

Comes with 5 radioisotope sources, 1 student manual with experiments and 1 teacher's manual.
