They experimentally derive the heating curve of water and explore the effects of buffers on acidic and alkaline solutions. Developed by Ryan Argot. Includes materials for four classes of 30 students each and instructions. Grades 7–11.

Includes: sugar, salt, gelatin, HC1, KOH, chalk, stirring sticks, sand, baking soda, Alka-Seltzer, pH paper, containers, graph paper, instructions.
