Product Information

Soil is a rich souce for the isolation of various bacterial strains, but possible dangers exist in the isolation of bacteria that may prove to be a human pathogen. In the laboratory, students will isolate and characterize safe soil bacteria strains from samples of soil containing one or two specific bacteria. With caution in the field, students will also isolate the various bacteria from soil samples. Includes instructions.
