Product Information

Introduce students to a unique method of writing ionic formulas and ionic interaction equations and developing solubility principles from empirical evidence. Students work in groups to take fifteen cations (positively charged ions in a water solution) and let them interact with the sodium or potassium salts of 13 anions (negatively charged ions). Each test can be repeated 100 times. Includes materials for six student groups, depression plates, dropping bottles of ions, stirring sticks, student data sheets and an instruction manual. Also includes assessment manuals and scoring sheets.
